If you have VA or Tricare health insurance, you are eligible to opt out of student health insurance. Please visit Student Health’s Insurance Waiver Process for additional information, and contact studentinsurance@wustl.edu with specific questions.
Although VA health insurance does not qualify for a waiver according to Student Health’s criteria, Student Health makes an exception for VA health care and will allow a waiver if you agree to the understanding that by waiving the student health insurance, you will not be able to seek care at Habif Health and Wellness Center since they do not accept VA insurance.
