Chris Ferguson is a retired United States Navy Captain and NASA astronaut. He was the pilot of Space Shuttle Atlantis on his first mission to space and the commander of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. In 2011, he commanded the final mission of the space shuttle program. He now works for Boeing helping to lead the company’s development of the CST-100 Starliner space taxi, one of two U.S.-built commercial spacecraft selected by NASA to ferry astronauts to and from the International Space Station.
