The university hosted its first-ever Veterans Recognition Ceremony for graduating student veterans on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 3:30-5 pm in the Emerson Auditorium of Knight Hall, with a reception in the Knight Hall Atrium. During this event, students were honored for their service and achievements and received red, white and blue honor cords to wear during Commencement from the faculty or staff member of their choosing who was instrumental to their success.

This event included graduating veterans, their guests, faculty and staff administrators and supporters, and friends of WashU.

We look forward to carrying this tradition forward and honoring our student veterans at future ceremonies.

Congratulations Class of 2018!
