Hello WUVets members and supporters!

WUVets is looking for two student veterans to attend the Student Veterans of America National Conference in Orlando, FL from January 3-5th. More info is here: http://conference.studentveterans.org/ This experience is all expenses paid from door to door and is a great event for networking, internship, job opportunities and learning more about being an SVA chapter leader. WUVets is a registered SVA chapter and one of over 1500 schools nationwide with chapters. 

We are looking for two student veterans  and/ or military-connected students who would like to be in leadership next school year to fill these two slots. Currently, three of us will be graduating and two others on the executive team will have little free time or will not be running for a seat next year. Attending this conference will ensure successful transition to new leadership for the coming year and continuity within our SVA chapter. 

In 2017, WUVets was awarded Chapter of the Year at the SVA National Conference and this year we have one executive team member in the running for Student Veteran of the Year. We hope to continue this legacy with incoming leadership by investing in YOU to attend #NatCon2019.
If you are interested in attending, please reply to this message with a few sentences about what you hope to gain from this experience and what role you plan on taking in WUVets next year. Please reply by Sunday, December 9th at midnight to be considered. We will notify the participants on Monday, December 10th.
